Vi har en SEC vs. SEC CWS mästerskapsserie för tredje gången under de senaste sex säsongerna (inte inklusive 2020) och den fjärde gången som går tillbaka till 2011. Mer bra baseboll. Den senaste veckan i Omaha har levererat flera klassiker – ingen bättre än LSU:s 2-0 walk-off-vinnare i den 11:e omgången för att slå Wake Forest. Florida och LSU har inte spelat den här säsongen. Leta efter pitching och kraft som nycklarna till seger. Gators har slagit sju homers på tre matcher på CWS; tigrarna har fem på fem matcher. Floridas armar är bättre rustade, ledd av Brandon Sproat, som har haft en ledig vecka framåt lördag. Trots sin komprometterade position, ta LSU i tre. Tigrarnas stjärnkraft kommer att lysa igenom.

Vad man kan förvänta sig av mästerskapsserien: Vi såg precis två nagelbitare med låga poäng skicka Florida och LSU till mästerskapsserien, men jag skulle spänna upp mig för något brott i denna bäst av tre. Trötthet på pitchpersonalen spelar ofta en stor roll mot slutet av den här ansträngande turneringen, och båda dessa lag har i genomsnitt minst två homeruns per match. De kanske inte har korsat vägar under SEC-spel i år, men dessa program är mycket bekanta med varandra, och jag förväntar mig att LSU kommer att hämnas förlusten 2017 på samma scen.
